Soft Skills Courseware
Course
After completing the Pretest, learners can choose Course to begin working in the modules. Course content includes workplace scenarios, videos, checks for understanding, self-assessments and definitions. Learners can move through the course at their own pace. Modules can be done in any order. Each module begins with five learning objectives. These learning objectives will be the focus of the course content.
Navigating Soft Skills
Learners select Next to advance through the course modules. They select Back to return to the previous page. Learners can turn on Audio to listen to the narrator. Learners choose the Audio button again to mute the narrator. The audio remains off until the learner selects Audio again. Learners can choose Replay to listen to the information again to reinforce learning.
Definitions
Definitions of important terms are presented to the learner throughout the course.
Videos
Videos are embedded within each module to demonstrate the use and effect of appropriate Soft Skills in the workplace.
Workplace Scenarios
The modules present several workplace scenarios to demonstrate how the skills being taught are used in real life situations.
Check Your Knowledge
Learners are given an opportunity to respond to the scenarios by answering multiple-choice questions. Learners must answer the question before they can move to the next page. Feedback is given immediately.
Menu Listing
Learners can revisit any page by choosing the Menu tab and selecting a topic to review. Learners cannot skip ahead but they can return to any concept for review.
Completing the Lesson
Learners will be notified when they reach the end of the lesson. Scores will be based upon the response to the Check Your Knowledge questions. Learners will be given the option to Continue or Exit.
The Soft Skills Courseware homepage will refresh when the lessons are complete. The Posttest will be available when the learner has completed all lessons in the module.
