Pretest
The Soft Skills Courseware Pretest is designed to measure skills before engaging in the course. Each module begins with a Pretest. Learners must complete the Pretest before they can begin the course.
Each Pretest begins with instructions that detail how to take the online Pretest. As learners review the Pretest Instructions, they click on the next arrow to navigate through the pages. When learners reach the end of the pretest instructions, they will begin their Pretest. Each module has several pretest questions, and scores are based on percentage correct.
Navigating the Pretest
To answer the Pretest questions, select a radio button next to the appropriate answer and click Submit. Click the next arrow to move to the next question. Learners must answer the question before they can advance to the next page.
Early Exit Warning
If learners choose to exit the Pretest before completing all questions, they will be given a message like the one below. If they exit prior to completion, the score will reflect the percentage of correct responses.
Completing the Pretest
When the Pretest is complete, learners will see their Pretest results. They select Continue to return to the Soft Skills Courseware homepage and begin the modules.
